CYPRESS TRIPLE HOMICIDE- Who killed Kelly, Kolin, and Cam?

OVERVIEW:

On August 18th, 2024 at approx. 6AM in Cypress Texas, a triple homicide took place and the suspect set fire to the home before fleeing in a nearby getaway car. The victims were: Kelly Masciarelli-54, Kolin Foster-23, & Cameryn Richard-21. Kelly was Kolin’s mother, and Cameryn was dating Kolin. They all resided in the same home at the end of a cul-de-sac. The house is backed up to a community center with tennis courts. The suspect is a taller male with a slender build. The hooded suspect was dropped off on a nearby street, where he was captured walking to the residence. The suspect entered the home around 6:05AM and all victims had been shot, house set fire, and the suspect fled around 6:11-6:14AM, using the tennis courts at the community center, as a cut through to the getaway car. The car picked up the suspect, shut off its lights and then fled towards 290 (a freeway). Although countless cameras captured the suspect vehicle, as well as the suspect himself, no definitive details could be identified due to the lighting and camera quality.

THE VICTIMS (in photo order):

Kelly Ann Masciarelli: Mother of Kolin Foster, Owner of home. Divorced since 2006 from Kolin & Sister’s Father. Unknown relationship status. 

Kolin Paul Foster (Masciarelli): Son of Kelly, Boyfriend of Cameryn Richard, Unknown Job Title. Charged with Terr.Threat towards a female in 2021, dismissed after he completed classes. Recently purchased an older red Camaro that was towed after the incident. Police don’t believe Kolin was last person in car, former owner was cleared. Neighbor heard car door slam around time of murder.

Cameryn Nichole Richard: Girlfriend of Kolin Foster, Cosmetology Student, Worked at The Butler House, Lived in the home with Kelly and Kolin. Friends say she hadn’t spoken of any issues in the home, she seemed happy.

Family Maine Coon Cat & kittens were also killed.

TIMELINE & MAP:


5:30AM- Suspect vehicle is captured on camera, circling the neighborhood near the home for approx. 30 mins before the murders

6:00AM- Suspect is dropped off @ intersection of Watermill Drive and Palos Park Drive. Suspect jumps the fence of neighborhood community center to gain access to victims backyard. Suspect entered through back door of home, no forced entry. 

6:05-6:11AM- Suspect commits murders and sets fire to the home. Kelly was downstairs, and killed first. Kelly was immediately located downstairs upon firefighters entering, Kolin and Cameryn were located upstairs and were killed after in unknown order. All victims were shot multiple times, unknown locations. Maine Coon cat and kittens were killed as well. Suspect is seen on community center camera, jumping fence and using tennis courts as a cut through to Cypresswood.

6:14AM-6:15AM- Suspect meets getaway car on Cypresswood Drive, Unknown car passes the suspect vehicle, and vehicle shuts off it’s lights. Once unknown car passes, the suspect vehicle flees southbound on Cypress Rosehill Rd toward 290 in unknown direction.

-Male, Approx. 5'8-5'11
-Slender Build
-Light/Fair Color Skin
-Wore Hoodie & Potentially White Snapback Hat

Suspect/Getaway Vehicle:
-4 Door Sedan
-Looks to be Black/Dark Blue Color
-Darker Tint 
-Circled area for approx. 30 mins before murders
Potential Guesses: 2018-2024 VW Jetta

Investigators are working with the FBI, and they're hoping a $25,000 reward will help lead to the killer.
